History: Sector-4 has been established in Dhaka after establishment of Transport Audit Directorate.
Functional areas: Ministry of Shipping, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC), Land and Sea ports, all development projects under the ministry and Office of the CAFO, Ministry of Shipping.
Address: Transport Audit Directorate, 10th Floor, Audit Complex, Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000.
Activities:
- Audit planning, Audit team formation, Audit supervision, Audit briefing etc of all auditable units. Relevant follow up after audit, QAC-1, broadsheet reply, issuing general and advance para, sending draft reports to report sector.
- Participation in bi-party/ tri-party meetings.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report and sending to concerned sector/section.
- Performing administrative activities and other responsibilities imposed by higher authority
