Roads and Highways Division

History: Sector-2 has been established in Dhaka after establishment of Transport Audit Directorate.

Functional areas: Roads and Highways Division, Office of the Chief Engineer all subordinate offices, Office of the CAFO (Chief Accounts and Finance Officer) Roads and Highways Division, all development projects under the division, Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC), Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) and Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA).

Address: Transport Audit Directorate, 10^th Floor, Audit Complex, Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000.

Activities:

1. Audit planning, Audit team formation, Audit supervision, Audit briefing etc of all auditable units. Relevant follow up after audit, QAC-1, broadsheet reply, issuing general and advance para, sending draft reports to report sector.
2. Participation in bi-party/ tri-party meetings.
3. Preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report and sending to concerned sector/section.
4. Performing administrative activities and other responsibilities imposed by higher authority
